Honour Killings

As in the earlier episode of Satyamev Jayate ,Amir khan raised the issue of khap panchayet 's role in honour killing .But actually the situation is not only of one state i.e. Haryana but in Country like India the honour killing happened since old era.

I am not capable to understand why parents or other people who are near relatives and community members  Don't want that the  people, who able to find out his/her life-partner ,marry according to them and if she/he did not do this they are liable for honour killing  .Is it always correct that the all arranged marriage succeed ?Definitely the answer will be negative because the love marriage ratio is less as comparison to arranged marriage.So why people think that the love marriage is a result of lust?why they did not understand the feeling of two people?why they think that their children are not capable in choosing the right life partner.Of course here they think only for there so called reputation,society and status  otherwise at least once time they gave the freedom to their children .I do not support the love marriage but as it is the most important decision which belongs to a girl or boy's life so ofcourse they deserve the option of marriage .
